“ My girlfriend purchased a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport from Sundance Chevrolet for approximately $20,000 and put $10,000 down. Less than three months later, the vehicle suffered a transmission failure at around 95,000 miles and was diagnosed as needing an $11,000 transmission replacement. What disappointed us most was not necessarily the mechanical failure itself, because used vehicles can have unexpected problems. It was the response we received when we reached out for help. We were essentially told that because we declined the extended warranty, there was nothing Sundance was willing to do and that if they helped everyone based on circumstances, they would be out of business. We were not expecting a free transmission, but we were hoping for some effort to help a recent customer facing a significant repair bill. Instead, we were left feeling like once the sale was completed, customer loyalty and goodwill no longer mattered. Buyers should understand that if a major issue develops shortly after purchase and no warranty was purchased, they should not expect assistance from this dealership. ”
